Three days from now, Trip@dora will be flying again. This time, the destinations: Naga City and Caramoan. This would be my first time to explore the Bicol Region. Thanks to Cebu Pacific’s Piso Fare. I booked my tickets for only Php 155 roundtrip last February.
I’m hoping and praying that Bicol will welcome us with open arms and with a sunny weather. haha. Weather and waves, please be good.
After reading blog entries of Pinoy Travel Blogger Friends (LakwatseradePrimera, Mheanne Ojeda, The Pinay Solo Backpacker and SoloFlightEd.com), I’ve come up with the following activities:
Day 1: Hello Naga City
-Touchdown Pili Airport
-Check-in at accommodation (we haven’t reserved yet. since it’s not peak season, walk-in will do.)
-Visit CWC and experience wakeboarding!
-Roam the city and eat Bicol Express! haha
-Rest early to wake up early
Day 2: Caramoan, here we come!
-Ideally, we should leave hotel by three in the morning and proceed to van terminal at Naga Central Terminal. Naga-Sabang Estimated Travel Time (according to research): 2 hours
-From Sabang Port, we should catch the earliest boat ride to Guijalo Port, 5:30 am (according to Jeff Sancho, our contact person in Caramoan)
-Estimated Travel time from Sabang Port to Guijalo Port: 2 hours in the sea (I’m hoping to see Mayon as the sun rises…Many said that it’s visible from this part of Bicol)
-Expected Time of Arrival in Caramoan: 9:00 am
-After checking-in things, we should start island hopping:
There are top 10 islands in Caramoan. But due to limited time, we’ll only be exploring few of these islands:
- Matukad Island
- Hunongan
- Lahus
- Sabitang Laiya
- Cotivas
- Manlawi
-REST after a whole day of island hopping
DAY 3-Goodbye Caramoan, Till next time!
5am- Wake up early to see sunrise atop the Our Lady of Peace Shrine. 524 steps (according to research) Kaya yan!
7am-8am- Eat breakfast. last walk around in Caramoan. Leave Caramoan
10am- From Sabang, visit Ocampo to see the Deer Farm
11am-12 Return to Naga City. Eat Lunch
12pm- Check in to new accommodation (no reservations yet. haha)
REST (?) FREE TIME. BUY PASALUBONG
Visit Penafrancia Basilica Minore
Day 4- Goodbye Naga!
-Early Flight at 7 am. Homebound.
This is it! I’m excited! I’m looking forward to another safe, enriching, and adventure-filled travel!
